We are a full time Jewish Center serving the communities of JMU (James Madison University), Harrisonburg, and the Shenandoah Valley.

We are committed to providing a true home away from home for ALL Jewish students at JMU to experience real warmth and comfort, merged with fun, wisdom, and meaning. So every Jewish student at JMU can feel socially-safe and proud to be a Jew on campus.

Ever wonder how we got here? Why would we move to a place with no family, Jewish education for our kids, or kosher food? Why we spend our days, hours, minutes and seconds for Jewish life at JMU?

Here’s the deal: An essential and core component of our Jewish believe is Ahavat Yisrael, unconditional love. Driven by this precept, the Rebbe imbued his Shluchim,
emissaries, with a mission to take care of the physical and spiritual needs of the Jews in their Communities.​
