Mega Shabbat is our annual gala Shabbat Dinner on campus with over 100 JMU Jewish Students under one roof for one awesome night celebrating Jewish unity and pride. For many students Mega Shabbat is a super fun and fancy Shabbat night, and or a truly inspiring dinner shared with so many of their Jewish friends. Then… you have some students that as Jews at JMU often feel lonely, vulnerable, and socially endangered... Can you imagine how they feel when they walk into that room, look around, and find over 100 fellow JMU Jewish Students to share, laugh, and enjoy being Jewish together? They warm, and welcome, they feel safe and NOT alone. In short, that makes Mega Shabbat mega. Come join us!
